Opening hours
We're open from 12:00 to 17:00 Wednesday through Sunday. The museum is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and national holidays.
Museum closure dates on public holidays in 2025
- New Year's Day: Wednesday, 1 January
- Easter (Easter Sunday and Easter Monday): Sunday 20 April and Monday 21 April 2025
- King’s Day: Saturday 26 April 2025 (In 2025, King’s Day will be celebrated a day earlier on 26 April, because 27 April falls on a Sunday).
- Ascension Day: Thursday 29 May
- Whit Sunday: Sunday 19 May
- Christmas (Christmas Day and Boxing Day): Thursday 25 and Friday 26 December
- Wednesday 31 december we are closed at 14.30 hours
Alternate Opening Hours 2024
- 18 juni is het Huygens Museum om 16.00 uur gesloten.
- On Whit Monday Hofwijck will be open for the event: Dag van het Kasteel! Between 10.00-16.00 hours. Prices are half price or Museumcard.
- On Christmas Eve, 24 December, we will open our doors for Lichtjesavond from 17:00 to 21:00.
