Doing business at Hofwijck

The Huygens Museum offers a wide range of options for organising a meeting or business event. Across our three venues: the gatehouse, Hofwijck and the Notarishuis, we provide a variety of spaces for meetings, retreats, training courses and other business events.

A stroll through our historic garden makes for an inspiring break during your meeting in the gatehouse. You’ll be meeting in a unique location, surrounded by history and tranquillity. There are many possibilities; we’d be happy to help you put together a suitable package for your event. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the options.

Meeting Room
In the characteristic gatehouse at Hofwijck, we have a fully equipped meeting room. This meeting room features plenty of natural light, a multimedia screen, connection for your own laptop, Wi-Fi and a flipchart. The room can accommodate up to 16 guests in a (fixed) boardroom layout.

Notarishuis & Hofwijck
For larger groups or events for which the meeting room is not suitable, our museum venues at the Notarishuis and Hofwijck offer additional options.

At the Notarishuis, The ‘Gallery Room’ is available as a multifunctional hire space. This room can be arranged in various configurations and is equipped with Wi-Fi and a large presentation screen with a connection for your own laptop. Hofwijck is also available to hire as a venue for meetings and events.

Different rates apply to these spaces than to the meeting room in the Poortgebouw. Please feel free to contact us for more information, the options available and a quote.

Lunch with your meeting

4-Hour Package
€35 per person
Includes coffee, tea, water, sweet treats, and an extensive lunch with generously filled sandwiches, freshly made seasonal soup, fresh fruit, milk, and soft drinks.

8-Hour Package
€45 per person
Includes coffee, tea, water, sweet treats, and an extensive lunch with generously filled sandwiches, freshly made soup, fresh fruit, milk, and soft drinks.

Lunch in the 17th-Century Kitchen of Hofwijck
€10.00 supplement per person

Meeting with guided tour

Would you like to find out more about the history of the unique venue where you are holding your meeting? At both venues (Hofwijck and the Notarishuis), you can take a guided tour with an experienced guide, who will share all the interesting facts and stories with you over the course of an hour.

One-hour guided tour €75 (max. 20 participants per guide)

Post-Meeting Drinks
€17.50 per person
Includes drinks (white & red wine, beer, and soft drinks) from the Dutch assortment, along with savoury biscuits and luxury nuts.

Duration: max. 1 hour.
